About the Breed: A Yorkipoo is a mixed breed between the Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle. They are very affectionate and loving, making a delightful companion. They are perfect apartment dogs and adapt easily to their environment. They love to be the center of attention and have a lot of energy to be burned off as they love to play. They make great family dogs as they are really good with children and pick up great with training.
Temperament: Yorkipoo’s are very confident and intelligent. They learn very quickly and love to show off for those around them. They will need stricter training as their confidence sometimes leads them to feel as if their the boss. As they might inherit traits from the Yorkshire terrier, they may not notice how small they actually are and tend to dislike big dogs. For this reason, it is important for them to be socialized at a young age in order for them to be used to other canine companions.
